Improvers Training Programme

 

In addition to the club’s regular swim, bike and run sessions, we will be running additional sessions for those of you who would like to train a little harder. The sessions will be led by Sam Robinson and the weeks activities (including time, venue and session details) will be posted on a WhatsApp group on Sunday evening each week.

Here is the provisional schedule:

 

Run Sessions

  • Mondays 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm (followed by 30 mins stretching)

  • Thursdays 7 pm to 7.45pm (before swimming)

  • Saturdays (self trained)

 

Triathlon Specific Swim Sessions (tbc)

  • Thursdays 8 pm to 9 pm

 

Bike Sessions (static bike)

  • Tuesdays 8.15 pm to 9 pm

  • Friday 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm (followed by 30 mins stretching)

 

Strength and Conditioning Sessions

  • Mondays 6.30 am to 7.15 am

  • Wednesdays 6.30 am to 7 am

  • Fridays 6.30 am to 7.15 am

 

The schedule will be modified every fourth week to include performance testing.
